Project Overview

WeRule is a flagship mentorship platform designed for enterprise-level white-label use. Initially developed in partnership with the NYC government and Women.NYC, the platform provides equitable access to mentorship opportunities by connecting underrepresented founders and professionals with public and private sector mentors.

Built as a scalable and extensible system, WeRule supports multiple tenant use cases and enterprise deployments. It includes full calendar scheduling, secure messaging, multi-role access (mentor, mentee, admin), analytics dashboards, and a flexible architecture for custom configurations. The vision was to create a highly adaptable platform that could expand into new verticals — civic, nonprofit, and commercial.

Scope of Work

• Defined the product vision and 6-month MVP roadmap in partnership with NYC agency stakeholders
• Led all product strategy, sprint planning, and cross-functional coordination across design and dev
• Designed mentor-mentee workflows including scheduling, availability logic, and reminders
• Defined and documented QA processes, bug reporting, and feature request systems
• Produced onboarding guides, stakeholder demos, and integration documentation
